I said a prayer for you today And know God must have heard. I felt the answer in my heart Although He spoke no word! I didn't ask for wealth or fame (I knew you wouldn't mind). I asked him to send treasures Of a far more lasting kind! I asked that He be near you At the start of each new day; To grant you health and blessings And friends to share your way! I asked for happiness for you In all things great and small. But it was for His loving care I prayed the most of all!

We went up to the Ohio river today and ate a late lunch at Joe's Crab Shack to celebrate our One Year Anniversary!
And our waitress was nice enough to take a couple pics of us!

On our way home-the florist called to say she tried to deliver something and wanted to know how soon we could be home for her to bring it by....

Funny....got the following in an email from my mother-in-law, thought it was funny and reminded me of Tracy's post with the "and then the fight started" jokes!

He Said To Me!

He said to me . . . I don't know why you wear a bra; you've got nothing to put in it
I said to him . . . You wear pants don't you?

He said to me . . ...... Shall we try swapping positions tonight?
I said . That's a good idea - you stand by the stove & sink while I sit on the sofa and do nothing but fart

He said to me.. ... What have you been doing with all the grocery money I gave you?
I said to him . ..... Turn sideways and look in the mirror!

He said to me. ..... Why don't women blink during foreplay?
I said to him .. . They don't have time

He said to me. . How many men does it take to change a roll of toilet paper?
I said to him .. . I don't know; it has never happened.

He said to me. . Why is it difficult to find men who are sensitive, caring and Good- looking?
I said to him . . . They already have boyfriends.

I said. . . A widow.

He said to me.... Why are married women heavier than single women?
I said to him . . . Single women come home, see what's in the fridge and go to bed. Married women come home, see what's in bed and go to the fridge.

We spent our Saturday yesterday at Churchill Downs participating in a Childrens Diabetes Walk for the JDRF-Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Neither of us had ever been to Churchill Downs (funny too since we live here!) and were impressed at how pretty it was! UPS was a huge sponsor and since Kevin works for UPS we were with the "Brown" team! Here's some pics from the walk:

YAY! I put my notice in to QUIT at work today!! I will officially no longer be employed by VZW as of October 1st, 2009!! I'm stoked and excited about the opportunity to be in business for myself and wish me luck that all goes well!!

All right ya'll this was my Blood Pressure 3 weeks ago.

The Doc put me on Blood Pressure Meds (not sure which ones-I'll blog that later!) in hopes that my migraines are caused by my blood pressure. Well-I'm still having headaches but I go back to the doctor tomorrow morning to see if the meds are helping any.

The only noticeable difference is that my headaches aren't constantly throbbing anymore-just intermittently throbbing. We'll see!

I'm still DREAMING.....

I am super, super lucky to have such a great group of girls on my side!!

This is me with Erin & Steph in Cincinnatti this past weekend as we all got together to celebrate our Fall birthdays!

I recently discovered I can blog at work (one of the few blocked sites-can't beieve I didn't figure this out a long time ago!!) so I'm posting a few pics from my cell...there will be more to come of us girls from the past weekend and puppy pics! Hope everyone had a great summer since we're nearing the end!!

It's funny-you can tell we are new puppy parents...but we can't help taking pics of this adorable little one-and the only time we can get a good picture in is when she is sleeping.....

She is constantly on the go and loves playing with Lucille! Lucille is finally adjusted and understands that the little biter is not going anywhere and only going to get bigger and bigger!

It's cute to see how much the new baby lights up Kevins eyes!!
