We were both very productive with beading and catching up!
Nothing quite like spending some good quality time with one of the
Bestest of Friends!!
Sometimes a mess is a Fabulous thing!!

This was us at the Airport-saying Goodbye....never fun.
She's sporting the "Gettin' Lucky in Kentucky" hat!

It has been a LONG 3 years since us girls have seen each other...since her wedding in California actually!!

So we've talked about our wonderful neighbors right?! These shots were from September, Kevin's birthday! Both neighbors took us out for his BIG 30!!
We had a great dinner at Wick's Pizza (when you come to town-request us to take you there!)

The neighbors:

I just love the signs of Fall...the leaves changing here are Beautiful! It's a lovely reminder of the wonderful thing God has created for all of us!!

I took my aloe plant off the top of the fridge to water it. I brought it in thinking the cold temperatures at night would kill it, since I brought it from Florida where it was outside year round. I was amazed to discover 8 baby growths coming from it. So I made a trip down to the Hardware store and bought up the only three remaining pots they had left and replanted a few!!

I've always had a black thumb and am quite amazed that the aloe plant has grown as large as it has!

Here are pics from our Reception/House Warming Party last weekend!
The New Mrs. Artman and the Original Mrs. Artman! Our Wedding Cake! Crystal (next door neighbor) did a fabulous job! The cutting of the cake:

So, we talked about being nice...but you know how that goes!!

The early beginnings of the bon fire!

No thanks to our sports teams scores.

The day before we eloped, we made a trip up to Ohio to visit the Mowrey family!! I'm crazy jealous of the girls gardens...so I had to raid them for supplies for homemade salsa (which turned out wonderful btw)!!! Thanks for the tomatos and peppers! YUM!!

After the Ike winds came through and took out the "swing" tree in the back yard, we all had to go and check it out (and of course pose for a picture!)

Megan, doesn't that binky belong to someone else?!!

The boys all played football in the yard while the rest of us just enjoyed the game!!
Kori is such a Princess and of course, you can never take too many pictures of the little Vin-Man!!

We received our first wedding present within hours of eloping! Our neighbor across the street was out mowing his yard when we broke the news to him and his wife, and jokingly we pointed to our grass (needing mowed!). Before we knew it, he was mowing our yard. Notice the thumbs up? He says "this is your wedding present"!

The neighbors thought we were crazy as we were spending our "wedding day" working on the house! We pulled all the shutters off and put up a Star! Now all we're waiting for is a hard rain to wash away the dust that has accumulated under the shutters throughout all the years they've been attached to the house!!
For the few of you who saw the house before some transformations...this picture is from when I looked at the house for the first time! Notice the shutters (faded green) and the ugly electric flower bed lighting. All Gone...Thank Goodness, those things were hideous!

Now, finally, our house doesn't look as similar to all the other houses in the state of Kentucky!!
