It's funny-you can tell we are new puppy parents...but we can't help taking pics of this adorable little one-and the only time we can get a good picture in is when she is sleeping.....
She is constantly on the go and loves playing with Lucille! Lucille is finally adjusted and understands that the little biter is not going anywhere and only going to get bigger and bigger!

It's cute to see how much the new baby lights up Kevins eyes!!

A few things we have done this summer...
Enjoyed breakfast on the grill and all day in the sun at the Indy 500
It was quite a HOT day outside....
We enjoyed a weekend with Nana, Meg and Vinny
The Velcro Pygmies on the Ohio River (Derby kickoff concert)
Kevin went to Thunder over Louisville-the Airshow and Fireworks display for the Kentucky Derby Kickoff:

Oh yes, we spent a lovely week in sunny Florida...

And of course, when in Florida it's a must to drink America's Oldest Beer...A trip to Tampa Bay is also not complete without going to a Ray's Game!!

GO RAYS!!!

You can't beat spending time with good friends!

The Delaney boys.....true Irishmen!

Happy Birthday Sean! Nothing quite like being born and Irishman on St. Patrick's Day!
Here we are hangin' on Ellsworth AFB with John & Karen after a fabulous lamb & steak dinner. I just love her vining plants all over the kitchen!!

This is the 7am crowd at Dublin Square for full Irish Breakfast and Beers!

Nothing quite like a fresh Boulevard with good friends for Breakfast early in the morning on St. Patrick's Day!
Kevin's Car...his prized possession!
And here he is, amongst the cracked dry ground at the Badlands!

Okay so we took a trip to South Dakota for St. Patrick's Day (a yearly traditional trip for me...new to Kevin). Day one, of course we had to stop and see the Badlands.
Kevin was quite amazed by the beauty and size of the National Park!

Day two-we explored Mt. Rushmore and drove through Custer State Park.
The mission of the day was for Kevin to see Wild Buffalo roaming the park....an almost guarantee! I say almost since all we actually saw was tons and tons of Buffalo chips and one lone donkey:
The only proof we saw of actual Buffalo:

I couldn't believe it-we didn't see a single buffalo. I've been scared my car was going to get trampled by a herd crossing the road before. Just our luck to not see any.

Many of those who read my blogs regularly have already heard the news of my Wonderful, Lovely Auntie Kris. She has very recently been diagnosed with Myeloma Cancer. So, me being a beader, I instantly went on line and discovered that someone has created different color ribbons for the different types of cancer. Pink for Breast Cancer. Emerald Green for Colon Cancer. Burgundy for Myeloma Cancer.
Hence...the burgundy Awareness bracelet below....

I will be selling these bracelets for $15.00 each.
50% of the money you pay for each bracelet will go directly to Kris!!
Please email me at mowremo@aol.com
or call me (727) 431-2606 to place an order!
My goal is to sell over 100 bracelets!!
Lets all pitch in and help Kris fight this cancer.

Kris,

WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Oh, the signs of SPRING!!! YAY!
We just got back from a week long vacation to South Dakota (my annual trip out to spend St. Patrick's Day with my Irish brothers) to beautiful signs of spring!
I am so excited about spring now that we spent the last 2 days of vacation doing yard work, tilling flower beds, fertilizing the yard and planting seeds and flowers!
South Dakota pics can wait for a bit!

I've got three rose plants along side the house, one climbing rose and two rose bushes-can't wait to see the blooms this summer! We had roses last year late into the fall-if I remember right, they were blooming up until Thanksgiving time!

Our Bradford Pear tree in the front yard is blooming, and if you're familiar at all with Louisville, these trees are EVERYWHERE! The blooms are very pretty and I'm happy to see it doing so well after the hard winter ice storm we had!

Okay, so I realize I'm WAY behind...here's some pictures from our Crazy Ice Storm we had this winter that caused the state of Kentucky to be declared a "State of Emergency"!
Here's Kevin w/ the neighbor girls-shoveling snow and drinking some Rolling Rock!
Bryce making a Snow Angel...
The trees across the street, looked like an ice tornado went through.
The tree in our front yard...
Icicles handing from the gutter...
Ice storms can be so beautiful-but scary all at the same time.
Close-up of some frozen leaves.
Pretty tree along our walk through the cemetary.

The grill-go figure, we don't have a cover!!
